Nationwide uses heat to remove moisture and kill mold and other microbes. The beauty of heat is that it treats mold in inaccessible cracks and other voids and remove odors in the process and does so without the use of chemicals.
Steps to Successful Mold Removal
Step 1 - Remove accessible mold contamination
Remove any water damaged materials such as drywall, wood, carpet, tile, and so on. This may be the by product of an events such as flooding, plumbing water leaks, or failed sump pumps
Step 2 - Create containment barrier
We create a containment barrier to confine the mold spores. A vacuum is creating using HEPA filtered negactive air machines to eliminate outbound leaks in the containment and capture any airborne spores.
Step 3 - Apply heat
Clean dry heat is directed into the containment using specialized equipment that raises the inside temperature to an effective level. The heat level is lethal to mold, bacteria and insects. This is the same technology that we use to treat facilities for bed bugs. The heat is maintained for a sufficient amount of time to work properly.
Step 4 - Confirm Results
After treatment, we confirm that results were achieved prior to removing the containment barriers.
